What I want to do in 2013

2013

2013!  It is just a few days away!  Typically odd years haven’t been as good as even years for me but I am hoping 2013 will change that.

I love New Years!  Just the promise of a new year, new goals and new plans.  I love being able to regroup and come up with better ideas for all areas of my life.  I would like to think that each year I become a better person and create a better type of life for myself and my family.

When it comes to this blog, I have some ideas.  I have already started a calender for blog posts.  I want to step it up and post more often each week.

I would like to work on writing an e-book.  I am still not completely sure what it will be about.  I am working on that right now.

I would like to grow my mailing lists.  What blogger wouldn’t?

I would like to look more into Micro-niche blogs and see if anything like that would work for me.

I want to grow my Scentsy team and promote to the next level.

I want to add a few more freelance blogging jobs.  I really enjoy the job I am working on right now and would love to add more.

I want to learn more, write more and network more.

“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you. ”
― Oprah Winfrey

At this time next year I want to look back at 2013 as the year that I grew my business, that I found where I was supposed to be and that I made it work.

Balance is something I need to work on.  With three kids at home it can be hard to figure out the right way to balance them, my business and my home.  To have the time for everything can be difficult and I need to be more organized in order to make it work.

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.
Bill Cosby

With internet marketing, blogging and making money online I tell myself to never give up.  I look at people who have come before me and what they all have in common is that they didn’t give up.  They had ideas and saw them through.  They kept working and never gave up on their dreams.

When I look back at 2012 I can see where I have come, what I have accomplished and what I need to work on.  I can look back at who I was and what I was doing last year at this time.  Then I can look ahead at where I want to be at the end of 2013.  It is good to reflect and learn from the past.

What are your goals for 2013?  Remember, a year from now you would have wished you started today!

  1. What great plans! It seems there are lots hope you want to reach next year. And of course I am sure you have prepared them better. But it is very common and most of us want to do our best. It means we must face our future excitingly and enthusiastically. We must be confident that we will be better with whatever we plan. I want to learn from you. How to be a good writer with awesome ideas. It is really impressing me. You have given me good inspirations. Thank you and happy new year. I hope you will be success with all of your goals.

  2. Julie, if you want to grow your email list you should use what I use! This plugin boasted 300% excel in subscribers and I didn’t really believe it, but it had a 60 day guarantee so I bought it. I’m getting upwards of 20-50 subscribers a day with this thing! I wrote a post about it called What is List Building. There’s a part in there that covers this product called “growing you list” I’ll put it in the CommentLuv in this post.
